Whenever possible, judges should declare conflicts of interest.
Judges should declare any student from their current school or any school of which they have recent association, personal relationships or other declared conflict of interest.
Judges must declare conflicts of interest when entering in the tournament. Such declarations might include recent coaching at any other school entered in the tournament, recent coaching of any individual student entered in the tournament by another team, or any potentially significant personal relationship.
